Not a Happy Camper

Good Morning!

How is everyone? I am so glad that it’s Thursday, although I’d happily take Friday. Ah, tomorrow then.

So. We’re gonna go into poop graphics here. Poop and farts.

I started taking electrolytes in the morning. I add a packet to my water.

Since about day 2, I now shit all day long. It’s soft and impossible to get fully clean without a wipe made for this kind of thing.

I also start farting, usually around noon. They reek and they are constant and there is no controlling them.

Last night, I was up vomiting and shitting until about midnight. I had no other symptoms, just all this pooping and farting the last few days. I’m blaming the electrolytes

So I read up on these electrolytes and the consensus is not to use them as a daily supplement. It’s much better to use them in times of absolute need, like being in a dehydration state.

See, I’m already taking magnesium at night.

Here are the symptoms of too much magnesium electrolytes:

Nutritional and Additive Drawbacks

  • High sugar: Many standard sports drinks carry large amounts of added sugars which can lead to weight gain or dental issues.
  • Extra calories: Unneeded caloric intake from daily use can contribute to obesity.
  • Artificial ingredients: Powders and premade bottles often contain artificial dyes, flavors, and sweeteners.

Health Risks of Overconsumption

  • High sodium: Too much sodium can raise blood pressure and cause fluid retention.
  • Electrolyte overload: Excess minerals like potassium or sodium can trigger nausea, fatigue, confusion, and dangerous heart rhythm issues.

  • Kidney strain: Healthy kidneys flush out extra minerals, but overdoing supplements forces the body to work harder and poses risks for people with pre-existing kidney disease.

The mayo says people are better off getting their electrolytes from plain water and diet. I switch off at night between Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesium L-Threanate. Each contain about half the recommended daily dose for women my age. That’s because I know that I get enough regular magnesium from food.

So…yeah, electrolytes are excellent for you if you are dehydrated, after participating in an intense sports event or when you have been very ill with continued diarrhea and vomiting.

In my case, I am positive that the electrolytes have been the singular cause of my woes this last week as I started on them the same day I quit smoking.

And it was within two days that all this crapping and farting and weirdness started. So, yeah, goodbye electrolytes.

You no good for me.

Bad relationship, I break up with you now while things not to complicated.

Ok you know damn right.

Alright, so now that we have shit and farts out of the way…how about we throw money in, because you know…money.

Ugh.

My brakes are grinding and slicing and the whole bit. I had no choice but to drive the car to work today. I have no back up and I have $0 dollars in my checking account. In fact, I’m under a couple bucks.

I realize all the things;

I realize I shouldn’t drive the damn car

I realize that driving the car will only make the brakes worse

I realize that I have no control over these things so I should just fucking accept it

Well…here’s the thing about acceptance; yeah, accept what you have no control over but it doesn’t mean you have to fucking eat it and ask for seconds.

I am so over all of this and I was up last night and I just sobbed. I mean, my neighbors must’ve heard me, it was like 2AM or so and I gave no fucks. My daughter wasn’t home so I just sobbed.

And here I am at work, I made it safely. My brakes didn’t give out.

I’m in a mood.

Fuck the regime, Fuck the 1%, Fuck Everything that doesn’t involve me being able to live comfortably and not be a burden to the people I love.

Yeah, fuck ‘em all.

Don’t let the bastards grind you down.

Be Blessed.

Love & Light,

Neecie
